Our journey began in June 2018, when founder Steve Clark took the leap to become self employed. Coincidentally, that same day also marked the birth of Steve, and his wife, Terri's, first child; making it the start of a new chapter in more ways than one.

 

As Steve took on projects and began to build a solid reputation for reliable, skilled work, demand quickly grew. More hands came on board, and what started as a one-man operation gradually expanded. In March 2023, we officially became Clark Construction (SW) Ltd, a reflection of our growth and commitment to professional standards.

 

Terri, who had been working as a commercial account executive in the commercial insurance and risk management industry, supported the business in the evenings and weekends while managing her career and raising their two children. Her expertise in risk, compliance, and client service proved invaluable behind the scenes.

 

At the start of 2025, Terri made the decision to join the business full-time. With her industry experience and understanding of operations, she now works alongside Steve as a full-time director- helping to drive the company forward with the same family values, professionalism, and personal touch that have shaped Clark Construction from the beginning.
